“Hope Defined”

“Hope Defined” is the first piece in the EKOLife Collection.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month! Cervical Cancer is mostly 100% curable with early detection and treatment. It is the third most common gynecological cancer to endometrial and ovarian. All women who have been sexually active are at risk for cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer. Researchers are unsure of the exact cause, although several factors have been identified that increase the risk. It is now believed that most cases of cervical cancer are related to persistent infections with human papillomavirus (HPV) infections. Screening methods to find cervical changes that may lead to cervical cancer include the Pap test and HPV testing.

The bracelet and earrings are made with Russian Amazonite. Amazonite is known to enhance creative expression. It is said to have a soothing effect on the nervous system. Since the nervous system controls our emotions a great deal, this stone is said to soothe tense and aggravated situations and enhance love. Improves self worth. Amazonite is considered a soothing stone that offers confidence. It is called the “hope stone” because it inspires confidence and hope. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Cervical Cancer Coalition. For more information on cervical cancer, please visit The National Cervical Cancer Coalition www.nccc-online.org.
